Shrink wrap is a material made up of polymer plastic film. When heat is applied, it shrinks tightly over whatever it is covering. This both protects the book, and provides a smart finish ready for retail sale.
Perforation allows for a small hole or row of small holes punched in a sheet of paper, so that a part can be torn off easily. This can be done on some or all the pages.
A popular addition to many notebooks is the ability to add a pen or pencil with your branding. This loop can be made with a large range of colours but we'd recommend you match it with your chosen elastic or ribbon.
The standard pocket found in our notebooks is in the form of an envelope (secured on 3 sides) with a concertina fold at the top and bottom of the book. This allows you to securely hold papers and business cards that would otherwise fall out the book
Smaller than our standard pockets, these can be place in the front or back of your notebooks and come in the form of an envelope (secured on 3 sides) with a concertina fold at the top and bottom of the book.
A French Groove is created by a creasing machine that leaves a visible space or joint at the spine, giving an authentic and traditional look. This works best with a three-part-case on the cover.
Indexing allows you flick through sections of your journal/book with ease. You can choose as many tabs as you want and our machines will cut into the book block to provide perfect, clean paper indexing
Each band can be fully customised, printed and cut to size in-house, which means that they can go through a high level of customisation. Our belly bends wrap around the book and tuck in inside the covers. You can choose the width of your bellyband, and whether they run horizontally, or vertically.

Cloth is available in lots of different colours and different feels – some cloths are soft and luxurious, whereas others are far more hard-wearing.
Favoured by Moleskine and other leading brands, Vegan leather has a light grain to imitate a smooth leather surface and is covered with a waterproof varnish.
Faux leather tends to be a thermo-reactive polyurethane with a slight patina designed to look and feel like leather. Available in a variety of grains.
Bonded leather is made from unwanted scraps of leather, reconstituted to make a more hard wearing and blemish free material than regular leather.
Only the softest and supplest leathers are suitable for bookbinding. Our Nappa leather is sourced straight from the best Italian tanneries.

Softbound books can come in either faux or real leather, they can have a clean cut edge or a slight lip to protect the edges of the book.
A beautiful way to bind a simple sketch book, with the thread exposed along the spine we can match brand colours and use multiple colours of thread.
A simple but effective way of binding using metal staples, we can bind either card or faux leather covering materials to ensure we can meet any design requirements.
A half-bound book separates the spine from both sides of the cover with a contrasting material.
Similar to hard case binding, although we use a much thinner board to make the cover, this gives a firm yet flexible style of notebook.
