Oil/Gas Fired Boilers

Savemax – Oil/Gas Fired Boilers are the basic 3 pass internal furnace smoke tube type design in which flue gases are inside the tubes while water is outside the tubes in the shell. The combustion of oil and gas in a furnace requires atomization of the fuel. Since the fuel entering the burner in bulk amount is either in liquid or gas form, therefore it needs to be separated in fine droplets so that every last particle of the fuel could get burnt without leaving any traces.

This process of separating the fluid particles is called atomization. Generally, atomization is done with the help of a high-pressure fan which also provides air for the combustion of fuel. Mostly burners come with the attached fan and their assembly is known as a Monobloc Burner which means fan mounted on a burner.

The superior features make the boiler the ideal choice in the industry Thermodyne.

The 3-pass oil/gas fired boilers are most suitable for the burn fuels like heavy and light oils & gasses.

Both Oil and Natural Gas Boilers are highly efficient as the furnace temperature in case of both is around 1200 – 1300 ºC. Higher the Furnace temperature, higher will be the radiation heat transfer rate to the surrounding water. The high combustion volume, large water, and Steam holding capacity and superior design feature provide efficient operation.

Difference between Oil Fired Boiler and Gas Fired Boiler:

Oil Fired Boilers generally require Day Oil Tank to store oil and this oil is transported to a burner through oil piping and oil pump.

On the other hand, High-Efficiency Gas Fired Boilers are exactly same as Oil Fired Boilers in construction and the only difference is the transportation of gas to burner requires gas train which comprises of the gas regulator that regulates pressure, the gas strainer to remover dirt from gas while no such valves are required in oil fired boilers

Advantages and Benefits:

  • Fully automatic and high efficiency of 88 % on NCV saves running costs to the Steam Boilers
  • A large convective heating surface in the 2nd & 3rd pass tubes ensures excellent heat transfer
  • Large water holding & steam holding space provides quick response to fluctuating steam demands
  • Large heat transfer surface reduces the thermal stresses on the boiler surfaces
  • Dry steam reduces the processing time, saved the steam & improved quality of processed goods
  • Monobloc type burnerReduce fuel consumption
  • Horizontal packaged boilers– less site work & quick commissioning

Our savemax model works very smartly in a way that it saves a lot of your fuel. Both pressure and temperature gauge sense the outlet steam pressure and temperature and when it exceeds the set pressure and temperature, it automatically gives the signal to the burner which in turn reduces the fuel flow to the burner thereby reducing the operating cost.

“So Our Savemax Boilers are Fire Tube Boilers which is operated Oil and Gas Fuels”

1. What is an oil/gas fired boiler?

An oil/gas fired boiler is a type of boiler that uses oil or gas as its fuel source. Boilers are used to heat water, which can then be used for a variety of purposes, such as heating a home or commercial building, providing hot water for bathing and other uses, or generating steam for industrial processes

2. What are the benefits of using an oil/gas fired boiler?

There are several benefits to using an oil/gas fired boiler. These include:
Efficiency: Oil/gas fired boilers are very efficient, meaning that they use less fuel to produce the same amount of heat as other types of boilers. This can save you money on your energy bills.
Versatility: Oil/gas fired boilers can be used in a variety of applications, making them a good choice for both residential and commercial use.
Ease of maintenance: Oil/gas fired boilers are relatively easy to maintain, which can save you money on service costs.

3.What are the drawbacks of using an oil/gas fired boiler?

There are a few drawbacks to using an oil/gas fired boiler. These include:
Cost: Oil and gas can be expensive, so the cost of operating an oil/gas fired boiler can be higher than other types of boilers.
Pollution: Oil/gas fired boilers can produce emissions that contribute to air pollution.
Safety: Oil/gas fired boilers can be a fire hazard if not properly installed and maintained.

4.Where can I buy an oil/gas fired boiler?

Oil/gas fired boilers can be purchased from a variety of retailers, including home improvement stores, plumbing supply stores, and heating and cooling contractors.

5. How much does an oil/gas fired boiler cost?

The cost of an oil/gas fired boiler will vary depending on the size, efficiency, and features of the boiler. Prices typically range from a few thousand INR to tens of thousands of INR.

6.How do I install an oil/gas fired boiler?

The installation of an oil/gas fired boiler should be done by a qualified heating and cooling contra

7. How do I maintain an oil/gas fired boiler?

Oil/gas fired boilers should be maintained on a regular basis by a qualified heating and cooling contractor. This will help to ensure that the boiler operates efficiently and safely.

8. What are some common problems with oil/gas fired boilers?

Some common problems with oil/gas fired boilers include:
Burner problems: The burner may not ignite or may not produce enough heat.
Water circulation problems: The water may not circulate properly through the boiler, which can cause the boiler to overheat.
Combustion problems: The boiler may not be burning fuel efficiently, which can lead to emissions problems and increased fuel costs.

9. How can I troubleshoot problems with my oil/gas fired boiler?

If you are having problems with your oil/gas fired boiler, you should contact a qualified heating and cooling contractor. They will be able to diagnose the problem and recommend a solution.

10. What are the safety precautions for oil/gas fired boilers?

There are a number of safety precautions that should be taken when using an oil/gas fired boiler. These include:
Never leave a burning boiler unattended.
Make sure that the boiler is properly vented to the outside.
Keep flammable materials away from the boiler.
Have the boiler inspected and serviced by a qualified heating and cooling contractor on a regular basis.
