Design sketch

According to designer bag sketch, our designer will discuss the detail, how to bring it to life, giving it the correct shape.

Choosing material ( guide: bag material)

It depends on the shape, the softness, the construction of the bag that we are going to make, we also need to think about the quality of the leather, whether it suitable for making this style or not

Making sample paper pattern

We first make the paper pattern which we start our first sample, using the leather while will be for sample production and the same kind of thing.

if the designer does confirm the paper pattern,

we find the correct making way for the production and write front and back instruction detail into the paper pattern.

also how to put the reinforcement, whether to glue how much to skive and where it must be done.

Cutting material

To cut the leather, first, we need to check the quality of the leather.

the worker has to decide which part of the skin we can use for the front and back, and which part we should use for the bottom the inside.

second, we should pay attention to cut, also to, assemble, stitch and so on.

everyone in the production line should know it very well.

Skiving leather

According to the paper pattern, the softness and the thinness of the skin, the worker must adjust the machine, the different kinds of leather have different requirements.

according to the designer requirement, leather needs to be skived, glued with exactly the correct amount of glue, if necessary reinforced, and finally pressed to make all the materials blend together to give the correct consistency.

General technique

1.the table and the tools must be kept clean

2.choosing the right glue, follow the instruction of the paper pattern

3.glue on the edge may be applied either with a brush of with a glue dispenser.

4.sometimes it’s necessary to use double tape.

Stitching

We have different kinds of thread. we normally use nylon and polyester, the nylon thread is thinner and used for the inner parts.polyester is more elastic, it looks nice than nylon, this is why we used it in all the visible part of the handbag.

the inner stitching will be smaller than outer stitching

we adjust the sewing machine step according to the thickness of the thread, the outer stitching stops the starting point so that the joint becomes insistent.

Oil edge( leather oil edge for bag guide)

Water painting is the best,the painting oil must the well dilute.

so the oil can penetrate into the leather to achieve a better addition.addition

in order to uniform the edges before painting.

if the leather raw edge is not accurate, the worker must use the polish machine with sandpaper tool first and brush tool second,the raw edges can not be too sharp, there are two kinds of the brush tool, one is the circle with the sandpaper, the other is the sand plate. when the paint getting dry, armed with brush tool to polish the second times.

if without specific requirements to the luminosity of painting edge, we used varnish matte finishing, otherwise we follow the designer requirement.to production the painted edge with the calf leather, it needs to add the support for the edge, the fill before painting the edge. for stitching the edge.

Using dryer over to save the waiting time of drying the painted edge and speed up production.

Assembling hardware

All hardware needs to passes the oxidation test before handbag used. we should use the wrinkled tape for assembling the inner hardware of the metal part because the glue will make metal part getting oxidation. The metal part must be protected with a protective during the assemble process.

Stop outside stitching

Using the sewing machine which foot is set for the purpose. stitching must step attach the very same stitch at the back of the binding edge. finally it is glued and brunt.

Packing

Finish all the phases of production pieces must be kept clean and fresh.for the packing, we only need to put the paper into the bag and keep the shape.
