I've come across several sellers of vegetable powders such as broccoli, spinach, beetroot etc. It claims they are organically grown, dried and then milled into a fine powder which can be added to foods, soups, smoothies or just water and consumed. Claiming that this way you ingest most of the nutrients, vitamins and fibre without any of it being destroyed during the cooking process. Is this true? I'm considering buying a couple hundred grams of all 3 vegetable powders and consuming a table spoon of each everyday? However if this is bullshit then there's no point in wasting my money. Anyone have experience with this?
